​While she holds a master's degree in both accounting and business administration, Dawn Jean has enjoyed spending her professional career in educational administration. After a career start in corporate America, she was blessed to find her true calling....spending her days with children. These children (or little ones) have not only brought an abundance of inspiration and joy but have given her the enthusiasm and imagination to write books for children and pursue her doctoral degree in education. Through their eyes, she brings you the Adventures of Lexi and Bug! With Lexi and Bug, you will see the struggles children face but also the magic and goodness that our children see every day. Dawn has a drive for new adventures, and, as the mother of two adult boys and the grandmother of a very special little girl, a passion for silly reminiscing about their childhoods. Living on the coast of Northeast Florida, she enjoys writing and all good things that come with beach life.
